There are always the time when we don’t feel good about something. It may be a result of a failure or rejection. It always provides a negative aura, and most of the time affects the people around us. I admit that I feel so down every other month. Why it is because I am always facing new challenges. But I fear not because I make sure that I can get my self-esteem back.
How do I manage to feel better, here is some of what I do:
Evaluate Yourself – Always try to look back what happened to realize why you felt that way. Try to stop blaming other people, and find a path of blaming yourself. But don’t be harsh to yourself, it is just good to do so that you can restrain from hating other people that may be involved. Once you know what you did wrong, you must definitely try to learn from it so that you can avoid from letting it happen again.
Talk To a Friend – I still don’t know any scientific explanation to this, but if there is a friend to listen, you can really feel better off. Sometimes, expressing is the solution to the worst problems we carry.
Eat Something Sweet – This helps a lot either. I know there is definitely a scientific explanation for this. Taking something sweet like chocolates or ice cream is causing some part of your body to feel better. Ask some experts, I don’t know how to explain that.
eating sweets releases/contains a certain hormone that helps you feel better.. it gives you the illusion of happiness..
so it’s really true.. eating sweet things make you feel a lot better..
i can actually relate with this one.
friends are love.
enough said.
i actually do it as well.
1. that’s the most important thing, evaluate. coz there’s no one better than you yourself evaluating what happened to you yourself.
2. agree.
3. favorite part. haha.
I read a book or watch a good or funny movie makes me feel good whenever something makes me sad then eventually I’ll feel better. Talking to a friend really helps most of the time!
thanks for the tips bro. I sometimes experienced feeling bad about myself. ewan ba, masyado siguro akong nappresure. thanks sa tips!
i actually did all of this yesterday.and yes, it made me feel better.:)
thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment in my blog.
for the talking to a friend part. there’s a “scientific” (I’m not sure if that’s the right term) explanation for that. If I’m not mistaken Freud introduces that importance of it or something like that. Try searching about free talk therapy.
number 3 works really good on me!
Aww.. thanks God, I found this one. Thanks also to you..
^^
Most of all, pray. It works. Ü
Wow. Thanks for these tips. Talking to a friend sure does help everytime. But you must know who the right friend to talk to about it though.
Nice blog.
me, i go out with my friends or make myself busy just to forget the bad thing that happened.
Nice things to ponder on the busy life.
Ill take this advices:O
haay, this post is a good timing coz i don’t feel good.
but it seems like it won’t work for me now.. *cries*
I’m not sure if eating something sweet is a good method to feel better. You may feel better a few minutes, but afterwards you will not only get the old feeling back, but you will also feel bad because you were eating unhealthy food.
have an award for you. check out my site
I agree with the sweet thing lol and talking to a friend really helps a lot.
yea…..talking to frnds helps a lot…………and i do a lot
@anne – well, it won’t work if you don’t try.. keeping the bad feeling to yourself will just worsen it.. just give it a try,, I am hundered percent sure it will have an effect ^^,
@Stefan – well, that’s a good point, but you don’t need to eat a unhealthy food if you don’t like.. still there are healthy sweet foods out there.. if you are a nutritionist, it will not be hard for you to know which sweet you try.. plus doing this should include a positive mind,, few minutes would be enough to keep you moving from a down state..
